![]() ![]() Today we’re presenting draft versions of the S9 AL Player’s Guide and AL Dungeon Master’s Guide here for the community’s review. As we gear up for Season 9, the Admin team is revising and updating some of the League’s core documentation.I definitely wouldn't allow an Aasimar (VGtM) to use any Aasimar (DMG) racial Feats though, they really don't need it. Personnaly I allow both the DMG and VGtM versions, despite the VGtM races being on the too-strong side. Aasimar (DMG) It's nice to see some much needed love go to the Aasimar (DMG).Since we want aasimar to be effective paladins and clerics, it makes. Given that aasimar and tieflings are like two sides of the same coin, the tiefling makes a good starting point for coming up with the new race’s traits. Aasimar should be to celestials and humans what tieflings are to fiends and humans. ![]() ![]() Originally presented in the Dungeon Master's Guide as an example of designing a race, the finalized version which appears in Volo's Guide to Monsters is much different from both the version in the DMG and aasimar in previous editions of the game. Aasimars are the go-to option for players who want to play a character with clear celestial influence.
